Meeting points will be set for each trip and it is your responsibility to arrive at these locations by the designated times. These meeting points are designed to be easily accessible and if you have any questions or would like more detailed directions feel fee to ask!

The closest airport is in Salt Lake City, Utah, approximately 140 miles from the dig sites in Kemmerer, Wyoming. From the airport you can grab your rental car and head to Interstate 80 East towards Evanston/Cheyenne. After passing Evanston, you will take exit #18 towards Kemmerer via US-189. Take this North approximately 35 miles to Kemmerer. Your travel time from the Salt Lake City Airport to Kemmerer is approximately 2 hours 15 minutes.

The closest airport is Salt Lake City, Utah, approximately 211 miles to Dinosaur, Colorado. From the airport you can travel I-80 East to exit 146 which will put you on US40 East. Follow this route to the Colorado border which will put you right on Dinosaur, Colorado. Your travel time from Salt Lake City Airport is approximately 3 hours 45 minutes.

The closest airport is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, approximately 179 miles from Holbrook, Arizona. From the airport you can travel North on AZ-87 toward Payson. This will bring you up through the Tonto National Forest and the Sitgreaves National Forest, following signs towards Petrified Forest National Monument, our meeting location.

Online payments will be processed with PayPal or Square.

Phone payments will be processed with Square.

In person payments can be made via all major credit cards using Square or checks made out to “Moments In Stone”

When booking online, full payment is due up front. If you would like to set up a payment plan for your trips, give us a call! We do have payment plan options for any trips booked more than 90 days out, but we will be happy to work with you on other options.

Refunds:

For our Weekend Dig Packages the following fees apply and are due to Moments In Stone at the time (prior to departure) we receive written notice of your cancellation.

• With 30+ days of notice adventurers can receive a full refund

• Within 15-29 days of notice adventurers can receive a 50% refund of the trip cost

• Within 0-14 days of notice no refunds can be given. You are responsible for the full trip cost.

What if my trip doesn't have enough participants?

Each trip requires a minimum number of participants. If we sign up enough participants to run a trip, the trip is confirmed, and we will alert travelers so they can purchase their airfare. Many of our trips will continue as planned with as few as 4 participants!

In most cases, if a trip doesn't have enough participants, you may either transfer to another departure date or trip, be refunded your deposit or you might be able to pay a supplemental fee to run the trip with fewer participants.
